We encourage all collaborations to enter, however, to win all parties submitted must be a member of Social Traders or become a member before the winners are announced. All membership levels, including Recognition members, can apply.

Sponsors are not excluded from entering the Awards; the judging of the Awards is kept confidential and has a robust internal and external reviewing process to ensure the integrity of the finalists and winning submissions.

• Collaborating with other social enterprises in order to deliver on a large contract that otherwise would not go to a social enterprise
• Expanding to a new geography or diversifying workforce that enables ability to service more clients/ take on more work from existing clients.
• You have created an innovative product or service, incorporating AI or technology that advances your business/impact model.

We are encouraging images to be submitted with each application. We need an original/source image file, in jpg or png format. This means an unedited, uncropped and unfiltered photo. If you do not have an image, simply submit a team photo taken on a smartphone. You do not have to submit a professionally taken photo. You may also supply a video.

All submissions for the 2024 Awards to be eligible must be entered by Sunday 2 June 11:59 AEST. Any application after this date will not be considered for entry.

Due to the sheer volume of submissions pouring in each year, we've streamlined the process. Rest assured, while we won't individually reach out, should you wish to delve deeper into your submission or explore storytelling opportunities, reach out to your dedicated Social Traders account manager.

• The Social Traders team will rank their submission based on each criteria item response, out of ten.
• The short-listed applicants will be reviewed by the involved social enterprise networks.
• The winners will be selected based on those who demonstrate the most impactful responses to the criteria.

Awarded to a certified social enterprise that can demonstrate achievements in one or more of the below areas:

• Innovation and Creativity - The applicant should be able to demonstrate how their model/initiative is unique, creative or innovative. They should be doing something new or different that makes them stand out.
• Impact - The applicant should be able to demonstrate how their model/initiative has created or contributed to social, cultural or environmental outcomes.
• Sustainability - The applicant should be able to demonstrate how their model/initiative is able to continue into the future.
