About this award

This award aims to celebrate a certified social enterprise that has demonstrated exceptional creativity and innovation in addressing social, cultural and/or environmental challenges. Whether through technological advancements, or unique approaches to entrepreneurship that contributes to ongoing impact.

Examples

• Collaborating with other social enterprises to deliver on a large contract that otherwise would not go to a social enterprise
• Expanding to a new geography or diversifying the workforce that enables the ability to service more clients/ take on more work from existing clients.
• You have created an innovative product or service, incorporating AI or technology that advances your business/impact model.

Awarded to a certified social enterprise that can demonstrate achievements in one or more of the below areas:

1. Innovation and Creativity - The applicant should be able to demonstrate how their model/initiative is unique, creative or innovative. They should be doing something new or different that makes them stand out.
2. Impact - The applicant should be able to demonstrate how their model/initiative has created or contributed to social, cultural or environmental outcomes.
3. Sustainability - The applicant should be able to demonstrate how their model/initiative is able to continue into the future.
